What is a server?

A server is a computer program or device that provides a service to another computer program and its user is called server.

 

Servers are used to manage network resources. For example, a user may set up a server to control access to a network, send/receive e-mail, manage print jobs, or host a website. They are also proficient at performing intense of  calculations. Some servers are committed to a specific task, often referred to as dedicated.

 

What is client system?

 client is any computer hardware or software device that requests access to a service provided by a server

What is tower server?

Tower server is most basic types of servers. Each and every individual tower server consumes data center space.Tower server used for small businesses that have limited number of clients. If your organization need less than 4 servers that time it is best.

 

Advantages of tower servers : • Easier cooling, because the overall component density is fairly low. • Scalability, because an unlimited number of servers can be added to an existing network.

Disadvantages of tower servers : • A set of tower servers is bulkier and heavier than an equivalent blade server or set of rack servers.

What Is Rack Server?

A rack server, also known as a rack mount server, rack-mounted server or rack mount computer, is a computer designed to be situated in a rectangular structure called a server rack. If your organization need more than 4 servers to 25 servers this rack server best.

The advantages of a server rack include better space conservation for rack servers, increased scalability, maximized air flow when coupled with a cooling system and ease of regular computer maintenance and diagnostics, given that their design allows technicians and operators to easily slide rack servers in and out of them.this rack server remotely monitoring using ILO port or IDRAC here ILO is using for HPE Servers and DELL using idrac both are doing same functionality.

What is blade server?

It is  an  advanced version of rack server  it is also called hybrid rack server it is used to store inside   the blade enclosure in this blade enclosure we are making a blade systems.  Every blade In the blade enclosure is call edserver.This type of server architecture that has a single chassis that houses multiple server modules, known as “blades. If your organization  need  more than 25 server this is best option.
